NOA- IFOAM Introduction to Organic Agriculture Workshop
The Namibia Organic Association is inviting applications from interested gardeners and farmers who want to adopt or improve organic production and share their knowledge and experience with other farmers. This workshop is part of a program for identifying and supporting lead farmers, role models and multipliers for organic farming in their communities.
The courses are planned as follows:
13 November 2021 - Hoachanas
20 November 2021 - Okakarara
Registration:
Participants should speak English.
To know what you already do and what your needs are, we ask that you to fill in the questionnaire (to be requested) when you apply. You can also phone Leena Iipumbu at NOA to respond to the questions by telephone if you do not have access to a computer or prefer giving oral feedback.

Closing date for registrations is 05 November 2021. You will be notified by 09 November if your application was successful.
Cost:
The workshop is free, thanks to a donation by IFOAM (International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements).
Participants from outside Hoachanas/ Okakarara may receive a transport subsidy but must organize their own transport and accommodation. We strongly advise that you travel the day before so you can be there from the start at 7:30. Contact information and a more detailed program will be sent to the successful applicants.
Refreshments and a light lunch will be served and participants will receive an information booklet covering the topics of the workshop.
